“Perluasan ini dengan memperkenalkan layanan penerbangan interline yang dapat menghubungkan para pengguna jasa kedua maskapai tersebut untuk melakukan penerbangan antarnegara melalui rute penerbangan Bali-Seoul-Almaty (Kazakhstan) yang mulai beroperasi 15 Mei 2023,” kata Direktur Utama Garuda Indonesia Irfan Setiaputra, Sabtu (13/5/2023).
Irfan mengungkapkan dengan diluncurkannya layanan penerbangan interline yang menghubungkan Indonesia dan Kazakhstan tersebut menjadi salah satu dukungan Garuda Indonesia dalam mengoptimalkan hubungan bilateral Indonesia dan Kazakhstan. Hubungan bilateral tersebut dikenal sebagai negara dengan postur ekonomi terbesar di Asia Tengah.
Hal tersebut turut sejalan dengan tren pertumbuhan volume perdagangan bilateral yang menunjukan peningkatan signifikan hingga lebih dari 83 persen selama 2022. Irfan mengharapkan rute penerbangan tersebut dapat memperkuat outlook pariwisata Indonesia dengan menghadirkan pilihan layanan penerbangan yang semakins seamless menuju Indonesia bagi wisatawan mancanegara asal Asia Tengah, khususnya menuju Bali yang menjadi salah satu episentrum pariwisata nasional.
“Hal ini tentunya menjadi peluang tersendiri bagi kontribusi kunjungan wisman dari Kazakhstan yang saat ini dapat melakukan penerbangan ke Indonesia dengan prosedur visa on arrival,” ucap Irfan.
Layanan penerbangan interline melalui rute Bali-Seoul-Amalty ini menjadi layanan penerbangan dengan pilihan connecting flight paling kompetitif. Waktu transit antara penerbangan dapat dilakukan dalam waktu sekitar dua jam.
“Prosedur transit juga semakin seamless karena pengguna jasa tidak perlu menyediakan visa transit di Bandara Incheon, Korea Selatan dan langsung dapat melanjutkan connecting flight melalui prosedur transit dari Terminal 2 menuju Terminal 1,” jelas Irfan.
