Teraspojok.com, KOTA BOGOR — Kota Bogor mengalami suhu yang cukup tinggi selama Oktober 2024. Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) melalui Stasiun Klimatologi Jawa Barat, mengungkapkan hal itu terjadi di antaranya karena berkurangnya tutupan awan, berkurangnya lahan hijau, dan peningkatan polusi udara sehingga mendorong terjadinya efek rumah kaca.
Forecaster Stasiun Klimatologi Jawa Barat Rossian Nursiddiq Islamiardi menjelaskan berdasarkan data pengamatan Stasiun Klimatologi di wilayah Bogor, suhu tertinggi tercatat pada 21 dan 22 Oktober 2024 mencapai 35,3 hingga 35,5 derajat Celsius. Wilayah Kota Bogor sendiri, dijelaskan Rossian, merupakan wilayah zona satu musim sehingga tidak mengenal adanya musim hujan atau kemarau. Atau secara klimatologis, tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara periode kemarau dan musim hujan.
“Suhu udara Kota Bogor ini akan mulai mereda saat hujan sudah mulai rutin turun. Berdasarkan kondisi atmosfer terkini, kami prakirakan potensi hujan mulai meningkat pada awal November nanti,” ucapnya pada Selasa (29/10/2024).
Dengan kondisi ini, Rossian mengatakan, Stasiun Iklim mengimbau agar masyarakat tetap tenang dan waspada. Terutama untuk menjaga kesehatan. Antara lain, kata dia, dengan banyak minum air putih, menggunakan tabir surya dan pelindung matahari seperti payung, topi, kacamata atau pelindung lainnya.
“Dan agar dapat lebih berhati-hati pada saat hujan berkurang akan potensi kebakaran,” kata dia.
